Welcome!

Welcome to ChugiakTea!  In order to give a taste of what this blog is about, I thought it would be appropriate to let you know that I don't think the hub bub about whether or not a Catholic institution should or should not provide contraception is relevant. What is relevant is how the government of the United States ever got to a point where those in charge thought it was their decision to influence in the first place. We (as in the people) have allowed, through indifference or stupidity, the government to require, by law, the purchase of a service; health care. Although the "slippery slope" argument is over-used in many political discussions, the "boy who cried wolf", now actually has a wolf at his door. I honestly wonder what good or service I will be required by law to purchase next year?  Perhaps a GM vehicle; after all it would help us recover our tax dollars in the long run, so it must be ok.......  Perhaps a solar panel; after all it would help us recover our tax dollars in the long run, so it must be ok.......  Honestly, what is next?
